The officially confirmed projects to date for this 2021 and early 2022 are:
- The resumption of the Las Vegas residence with the MJ ONE show
- The new Broadway show MJ THE MUSICAL before the end of the year.
- The release of the Smooth Criminal statue by Pure Arts later this year
- The release (within the second quarter of 2022) of the second Pure Arts statue, HIStory Teaser
This is therefore the scenario to date. And these are the first rumors that are moving (founded or unfounded as they are):
These are the screenshots that obviously caused some turmoil within the fan community. As on every occasion, and to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Michael's music (starting with Got To Be There), obviously we all expect something between this year and next one, but we still prefer to go with the lead feet and confirm projects. real, at least until now.
So we took action to get info about it and we can officially confirm that at the moment there is no record release that includes a new album, collaborations, nor a release date. The projects confirmed at the moment remain those described above. However, the possibility of a celebration of the 50th anniversary remains open, which does not necessarily pass through the label (Sony) but which can be conveyed directly within the artist's official shop, as happened in the recent past.
