Coronavirus COVID-19 is still affecting our community. Until we are all safe from the Virus, normality is what we live today.

So Celebrating Michael Jackson Birthday this year was not what it used to be. Most of the celebrations were done virtually starting with the Michael Jackson Estate.
This year they teamed up with Spike Lee who always do a party called "Brooklyn loves MJ Block Party" but due to COVID, this year the event was shown on the official Michael Jackson's youtube channel.
During the event, Spike Lee revealed a new cut of "They Don't Care About Us" which includes footage from actual events such as "Black Lives Matter" protests.

With the new project from the Michael Jackson Estate coming next year, even the "MJ: The Musical" has done a little "Birthday" video to celebrate Michael.

Stacy Walker and Travis Payne have also celebrating Michael by doing a virtual dance class teaching "They Don't Care About Us".

Throughout the day, fans, celebrities, family members and friends of the King of Pop have been celebrating Michael by posting pictures, messages, videos, podcasts, memories on social media. Check few here.

The Russian fans have done a fan made video of "Earth Song" in memory of those who lost their lives due to COVID. The video was premiered on Michael's Birth day.

"KV:GLOBAL" - Kingvention, the European Michael Jackson Convention that always takes place around September in London is clearly not happening this year due to COVID but the team has something else planned for the fans. We do not have much more information yet but CLICK HERE to see what the Kingvention Team said.

China is easing on the COVID measures and meaning that fans could actually meet to celebrate Michael Jackson on its 62nd Birth day. The MJJCN, the largest MJ fan club in the country has created 6 statues of Michael Jackson and unveiled them on the day. The Statues were based on Diana Walczak's work for the HIStory album cover

Geraldine Hughes returns to Gary Indiana for Michael Jackson's birthday celebration in Gary Indiana. Ladonna Petty did an amazing job with this event and it reminded me of working with Mrs. Katherine for 6 years on MJ's memorial. Amazing and awesome!!
